Sorry for combining two depressing topics, but the implications of climate and El Niño on hunger just isn't of interest to mainstream media. They hardly noticed when there were two famines last year. Sierra Club is doing a great job sounding a softer alarm. but the alarm has to be sounded. Thanks for reading and hope you breathed in a little nature to round out your day.
Thank you for your work, Mark. This is almost too depressing to read when we know there is so much money going to the wealthy few, who keep enriching themselves - money that could feed the hungry multitudes. I still try to read the Sierra Club magazines, but even their efforts to tone down the horror of human exploitation to manageable levels cannot make the injustices palatable. I suspect that many people cover their eyes and ears out of self-preservation.

Am glad you are getting the word out ,and superbly, Mark!
I remember Michael Jackson's Earth song line for the hurting from climate change.. "What about us?"
You convey that well.
